Role Financial Accountant and Analyst Preparation of monthly Group consolidation, using HFM consolidation system Preparation / review of balance sheet reconciliations for the UK Review performance of UK business and understand variances to budget / forecast Support in the implementation of the finance control manual to ensure best practice processes and controls are implemented and operating effectively across the Group Provide support to entities within the Group on Group accounting policies to ensure consistency in practices, policies and procedures across all entities Key Attributes for the Role The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a technical background, commercial awareness and strong communication skills A desire to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to automate processes, embed controls and improve the efficiency of financial reporting A good understanding of a strong financial control environment Strong analytical and IT skills, particularly Excel Enthusiastic, keen to learn, proactive and able to bring fresh ideas to the business Self motivated, ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and see things through Process oriented, logical approach and great attention to detail Respond effectively to problems or feedback, can do attitude, work with pace Ability to critically appraise processes or large quantities of complex data to make recommendations in simple language Be committed to building and maintaining strong working relationships both within and outside of the Group Finance Team Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance personnel of differing levels and work as part of a high functioning team Advantageous but not a Pre Requisite "Big 4" Mandarin speaker HFM / Epicor system experience Manufacturing and retail experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
