LKMC is also proud to be the only hospital in the Florida Keys that offers labor and delivery services. We also offer physical therapy in Key West using a multi-joint strength system, in addition to other innovative systems and equipment for customized rehabilitation. What Does a Director of Facilities Do?: As a Director of Facilities with Lower Keys Medical Center, you will spend your day… Directs an organization's facilities department. Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. May also manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a top management.
