Parts Warehouse Operative Lookers Lookers Distrigo Aston req7332 Market leading employee benefits Your role as a Parts Warehouse Assistant will be to ensure that all parts received are accurately checked and that all stock is stored, organised and managed effectively. Hours of work: Monday – 7.30am – 4.30pm, Tuesday – Friday 5am – 2pm and required to work occasional Saturday mornings 5am-9am Duties & Responsibilities: Ensuring that all parts are correctly checked against delivery/advice notes and that stored in the appropriate location Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and ensuring that all the goods within the Parts Department are in a saleable condition at all times Completing all administration duties relating to Parts Returns and Parts systems and assisting with stock checks where required Ensuring that all shortages of damaged parts received are reported to the Supervisor, the necessary forms are prepared and all supplier returns are returned accordingly Communicating with suppliers and ensuring effective working relationships are developed as well as an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues What we’re looking for: Must have experience gained from a warehouse environment, handling and organising stock Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with both external suppliers and colleagues Able to demonstrate excellent verbal, written, planning and organisational skills Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and accurate record-keeping. Experience of using a computerised stock management system, knowledge of Kerridge / ADP is desirable but not essential Works together with colleagues to support the achievement of increased profit and sales A full and valid UK driving license Why us...?
