Interview date: Wednesday 8th April 2020 We are looking to recruit a Facilities Management Assistant to work within our Premises Team supporting our operations across 54 premises in Devon. These roles will work with our Premises Manager and Library staff to develop and streamline our maintenance programmes to ensure that our buildings are welcoming and safe environments. The successful applicant will lead on specific aspects of day to day Facilities Management, with a focus on health & safety duties, alongside responsive and cyclical repairs and maintenance. You will have previous Facilities Management experience, and be able to clearly and effectively communicate with building managers and contractors to ensure works are carried out in a cost effective and timely manner. About Libraries Unlimited Libraries Unlimited is an independent charity running 50 libraries across Devon and 4 libraries in Torbay, as well as 4 mobile libraries and a range of other services including; two FabLabs, and 2 Business and Intellectual Property Centres. We have approximately 380 members of staff working across our multiple locations. We are also an Arts Council England (ACE) National Portfolio Organisation (NPO), expanding our services to include high-quality arts and cultural events and activities for our users.
