About the Team: LSM are progressively implementing Agile practices and seeks to recruit an experienced Systems Analyst to support the LSM Genius Products and enhancement thereto, working alongside GRSIT development team to understand LSM’s priorities, ensuring that business needs are understood and met. About the Role: Maintain operability of a key Underwriting application (Genius) Manage support calls performing triage activities to determine severity of issues and directing to the appropriate team(s) for resolution. On behalf of LSM, work closely with GRSIT Genius Agile delivery team ensuring the validity of delivery items meet the LSM defined requirement Working with LSM product owner to understand and set LSM priorties Work closely with third party development and LSM IT teams to deliver application upgrades Document, maintain and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Adhere to IT processes for the control of application access, permissions and profiles Develop system test plans and test scripts and approve new system behaviours to ensure alignments with business / system objectives Communication of releases, updates and enhancements to relevant departments What the ideal candidate will have: Proven background configuarating Genius Experience in application support (user support and vendor engagement) Experience in working in an Agile delivery (sprint cycles/releases) and knowledge of Agile methodologies – use of JIRA would be preferable Working knowledge and exposure to IT concepts and methodologies, systems development lifecycle, information management and portfolio management (production systems, release planning, change management) Strong oral and written communicate skills; presentation skills. Knowledge of Underwriting business functions and business operations.
