Our highly successful Leicester-Shire Music Education Hub (LMEH) and music service is looking to recruit several enthusiastic individuals, across a range of jobs, to become part of our ambitious team. As the lead partner for the Leicester-Shire Music Education Hub, we will be looking for applicants to have exceptional organisation and communication skills with an excellent track record of working in partnership to improve music education outcomes. All team members contribute to developing our vision and we would expect our candidates to have clear ideas about what future music services could be. As an organisation, we are continually looking at being more commercial to support future growth. Together, we want to effectively deliver our vision, values, aims and objectives in line with the National Plan for Music Education (NMPE) to ensure our service is sustainable. Hub Data Analyst The postholder will be required to: Use statistical methods to analyse and interpret data to generate useful business reports for LSMS and LMEH to provide insight that will help grow and develop the business Regularly report to Hub leads, LSMS leadership team and other external stakeholders on Hub performance against priorities Develop systems and processes for effectively collecting data to be used for monitoring, analysing, reporting and informing future Hub strategy development. Undertake rigorous analysis and reporting of data including uptake and outcomes of disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, views of parents and other stakeholders, exam results, city and county engagement and outcomes etc. identifying gaps and trends and using these to inform future policy Facilitate appropriate data collection processes across LMEH in line with GDPR ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Relevant degree or professional qualification Ability to analyse and interpret data/information and present it effectively. Have experience of writing reports suitable for a wide range of audiences. Experience of analysing, interpreting data and using that insight to create high impact visualisations and data stories, which translate complex data into valuable and actionable recommendations Experience of developing and implementing appropriate qualitative and quantitative indicators and knowledge of how they can be used to improve performance Have strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to produce reports and data visualisations Be confident analysing large data sets, including experience of data cleansing, validation and enrichment This post may be the subject of a DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity.
