POSITION SUMMARY Based in Ismaning, this position will be responsible for the review, analysis and financial reporting of the region Germany & EEC, Russia. He/she will deliver strategic advisory on financial issues including profit improvement, cost control and process improvements. He/she will be the interface between the region area the Headquarters on Financial aspects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Operations Management Financial Controlling. Support accounting, oversee the operation of control accounts and reconcile balance sheet accounts. Build a strong relationship with all entities of the region Ensure timeliness and accuracy of monthly closing and forecast Ensure incentives scheme computation for correct accruals Budget/ Forecasting. Preparation of monthly forecast. Build up the German & Eastern Europe budget. Master and check the budgeted expenses. Propose action plans. Annual Reports. Support the preparation of the annual report consisting of items such as profit sharing schedules, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts. AdHoc Reporting. Preparation of reports for local Management and HQ. Finance IT Systems. Lead or participate to any Financial system project. Monthly & quarterly reporting and consolidation. Take responsibility of the reporting and consolidation process of the region Interface with the Headquarter Management Accounts. Responsibility for the timely preparation incl. consolidation and interpretation of the subsidiaries' monthly reporting and quarterly statutory reports to HQ in compliance with IFRS. Reporting & Communication. Regularly report on all issues to the Finance Director. Be proactive and alert him about any problems or material variance to budget or forecast Operations Support and Business Follow-up Business Follow up. Support the Finance director in the follow-up of business and performance on the basis of the objectives defined for the region with the Regional General Manager Rules and procedures application. Support the Finance Director that all group rules and procedures are respected within the region on all functional domains (finance, sales, after-sales services, administration…). Review and improve finance processes on a regular basis Sales, Service Contract and Licenses Administration Give a strong support on monitoring and reporting of the validation, processing and invoicing of sales orders, service contracts license administration and logistics (SAP B1, Salesforce.com, Oracle) Support of the Sales Team, Agents and Regional Offices by using Salesforce.com, Oracle and other back-office tools POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of effective methods of organizing and implementing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and procurement functions. Knowledge of the IFRS and HGB regulations. Excellent analytical and problems solving skills including ability to resolve complex budgeting and financial issues and review and comprehend statistical data and financial reports. Ability to support the development and implementation of internal financial controls, policies and procedures affecting company performance A thorough knowledge of cross-functional processes and operations. Strong (internal) customer service orientation. Ability to present information in a clear and synthetic way. Both proactive and professional in his/her approach and be able to demonstrate strong intellectual ability. EDUCATIOn and EXPERIENCE Master degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years’ experience in controlling, preferably in a listed company Fluent in German and English ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This position requires occasional travel.
