Leading ASX listed Health Care Company Based in St Leonards next to transport hub, cafes and gyms. 12 month max term contract Healius Limited is one of Australia's leading ASX listed healthcare companies. Primary's services include large-scale medical centres, pathology and diagnostic imaging. Reporting to the Head of Property Law, the Property Legal Counsel will primarily be focused on large scale commercial leasing matters including legal review, negotiating and finalising lease transactions. Other responsibilities for this role will include: Prepare and negotiate leases and associated documents including extensions, renewals, deeds of assignment and surrender, rights of entry deeds and disclosure statements with a degree of autonomy. Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders Consider, research, interpret and apply the appropriate property legislation across all states Consider land titles office requirements across all states and prepare documents in accordance with those requirements Consider insurance requirements and obtain appropriate evidence of insurance Consider security requirements and obtain security as appropriate Negotiate requests for amendments, liaise directly with business units and external lawyers, prepare letters, legal documents and emails and deal with registration and completion of matters with minimal support. Suitable candidates will possess the following skills and experience: A minimum of 7 years post qualification experience Proven experience as a legal counsel in a corporate environment either in-house or within a firm engaging corporate clients High degree of professional ethics and integrity Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and instructions Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Highly organised with strong attention to detail Ability to act with priority to deliver on deadlines A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and, a desire to interact with and build business unit relationships If you feel you have the skills and experience to perform in this role and would like to work with a leading ASX listed Health Care Company then click on "apply for this job" or email your CV to [email removed].
