Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, and friendly and should also be able to address guest requests. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Clean assigned number of rooms / areas per work shift Clean all aspects of the guest room, including beds, furniture, bathroom, carpet, etc. Seasonal / deep cleaning of guest rooms Report any room deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper Maintain cleaning equipment, stocking of carts, chemical tray Maintain linen rooms in a clean and tidy condition at all times Return all “Lost and Found” items to the Housekeeping Office Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times Perform other related duties as required by the Executive Housekeeper REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Relevant education and experience is preferred but not required Energetic, flexible, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity Friendly and pleasant demeanour Excellent customer service orientation Highly organized and detail oriented, with a passion for cleanliness and tidiness Work well under pressure, without supervision, independently and as a member of a team Able to perform well in a fast paced work environment Good communication skills Strong teamwork skills WORK CONDITIONS The will spend 100% of the time standing and walking during the work shift Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds on regular basis Must be physically fit to perform job duties as per hotel standards Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: $17.05 /hour
