LS Technologies, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Technical Support person to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Responsibilities Provide program management support to the FAA Enterprise Services Center (ESC) related specifically to the operation and support of telecommunications networks and systems. Assist the Government in providing program management oversight support for all leased/owned FAA telecommunications programs until decommissioning or end of lifecycle with an emphasis on leased IP services. Maintenance of telecommunications equipment including local area networks (LAN) wide area networks (WAN), serial data service, digital broadband service (DDS and T1), routers, modems, personal computers and internet connections, analog voice services, telephones, fax machines, telephone switching equipment (PBX), and radios. Assist in the development of program management plans consisting of short- and long-range planning. Communicate issues or concerns affecting the tasks and assist in resolution. Conducting network performance and improvement analysis for FAA operational telecommunications. Provide support for restoration activities. Assist in the resolution of open/chronic trouble tickets. Reason for Outage reports (RFO). Requirements Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Self-starter with skills related to investigate problems associated with telecom equipment and services Strong communication skills to work with end-user and technical staff to gather new telecom requirements Experience managing short and long-term projects Identify, monitor, track incidents and provide reports on various telecom services/outages Establish and maintain relationships with on-site telephone coordinators/customers Work with FAA organizations to assist in meeting the overall mission of their organization Knowledge in telecommunications standards and terminology including VoIP, analog, cabling protocols Education Bachelor's Degree in related field. Travel 20%
