Job Description / Responsibilities: Ensure customer requirements are met and are in the best interests of LHM by creating the program charter, baseline plan, and other program management components. Maintain strong customer relationships by responding to all customer requests and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned program activities, status and problem resolution. Responsible for monitoring programs in the areas of scope, scheduling, costing, engineering and contractual changes. This includes the implementation of corrective actions covering all areas of program responsibility. Regularly communicate with suppliers to monitor delivery updates, expedite orders, and resolving any issues relating to deliveries and/or orders. Ensure that the cost basis and/or pricing are correct by evaluating resource requirements and performing risk analyses. Provide weekly and monthly status reports as required. Participate in production meetings and address critical issues on complex programs. Lead the team in developing action plans to improve performance. Lead the development of program plans covering mature and new product development programs. Participate in program planning efforts and direct all phases of programs throughout the program lifecycle. Organize programs by defining and identifying required expertise. Oversee and contribute to task planning on programs including resource requirements. Establish and communicate overall priorities and changing program requirements to functional areas. Serve as key presenter and facilitator at customer program reviews. Ensure meeting actions are documented and communicated. Establish goals and objectives required to complete programs. Provide mentoring within program management and leadership to varied project teams. Maintain professional and technical/product knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical/specialty publications, and/or participating in professional associations. Share specialized knowledge with others and serves as a resource or expert on program management principles and practices. Directly reports to Vice President. Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Required: Excellent understanding of manufacturing principles, methods & planning. Minimum of 5 years experience in the aerospace manufacturing sector with complex components and assemblies. Strong focus on planning, program management, and team building. Microsoft Office skills Experience in manufacturing of landing gear components would be a definite asset. Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering is an asset. Results-oriented Analytical thinking Interpersonal skills (including working effectively with others and influencing skills) Demonstrates strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects LHM offers a state of the art facility, competitive salaries and a full benefit package and work perks.
