THE ROLE The Project Manager’s primary responsibility will be to take ownership and accountability for the delivery of product implementations in SEA. Your duties are outlined, but are not limited to, below: Programme Management Develop treasury management strategy, processes and technology solutions Advise and develop integrated solutions for treasury and finance functions at financial institutions or multinational corporations Identify and address client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials. Review and approve all project plans for implementations Coordinate with Kyriba functional teams (Prod Mgt, Dev, CS, Sales, and Prod Support) to manage client issues in a timely and effective manner Act as the escalation point of contact for Kyriba implementation consultants when they have client questions that require further subject matter expertise Client Connectivity Participate in internal meetings to disseminate client issues, required enhancements, and lessons learned with the Product team and Client Solutions Monitor at the project level; budget, schedule, resource allocation, scope, and Client Satisfaction Work with other VP, RVP, and Director to coordinate resource planning for current and upcoming implementations Champion and encourage the promotion and delivery of practices which drive up customer satisfaction through all aspect of the business Review and approve timesheets and expenses of consultants working on projects Work with Sales to provide project estimates for new client engagements Provide quarterly and annual performance reviews of consultants Communicate client issues with either the Account Manager and/or Manager to ensure client satisfaction and retention Strengthen Professional Services team in application knowledge, business knowledge, project management, and client facing skills Communication and Documentation Implement project initiation and closure procedures with appropriate documentation Maintain current project work plans, schedules, etc. Lead regular status meetings, demonstrating proactive communication to all stakeholders Ensure effective teamwork and collaboration within the project team by providing excellent communication and facilitating regular reviews/meetings of key issues Manage an archive of project-related documentation and deliverables Actively document project decisions, milestones, and acceptance of deliverables SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Location China (primarily location) Travel requirements will oscillate between 25-50%, dependent on client needs Education/ Qualification Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or Information Technology (Computer Science or related discipline) Project Management Qualification (e.g. Prince2, PMP, etc.) (desirable) Languages Excellent standard of spoken and written Chinese and English Practical Experience Experience as a client facing project manager Strong experience with financial products in a sales, support, development or consulting environment Experienced in managing a consulting programme within a software company Strong and proven experience in managing multiple projects at the same time Thought leadership around developing best practices in project management Acted as a mentor to the team/department Managed third-party consultants Technical Experience Knowledge of Corporate Treasury needs and requirements to enable to understand how they will be best met with Kyriba products or technology Proven expert-level abilities with security and derivative instrument valuation, especially relating to asset liability management, liquidity risk management, funding, collateral management and cash and capital management Proven expert-level technical skills with global cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, working capital management and corporate finance Knowledge of capital markets instruments including fixed income, equity, foreign currency, interest rate, commodities Character Persuasive communicator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Able to effectively influence and negotiate internally with colleagues to achieve the best result for all parties Able to earn respect and build trust by demonstrating value Client-focused with a drive to develop and nurture relationship and maintain a high level of service at all times Pragmatic approach to achieving results Acts with integrity and accountability Has strong opinions but is open minded to changing those opinions as situation sees fit Creative approach to problem solving and unafraid to challenge current ways of doing things Passionate about client service Confident and assertive approach Able to navigate complex situations, maintain focus, and bring clarity Attention to detail Strong work ethic Ability to work under pressure Team player Proactive approach to work Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise depending on the circumstances
