Owners Liaison Lead Wakatū Incorporation is a Māori-family owned organisation with approximately 4,000 shareholders who descend from the customary Māori landowners of the Nelson, Tasman and Golden Bay regions. The Whenua team manages a diverse portfolio from vineyards, orchards to residential properties, large retail developments, office buildings, marine farms and waterspace. Kono is our food and beverage business focused on high quality beverages, fruit bars, seafood products, pipfruit and hops. Auora is our new consumer-focused, health solutions business. Guided by Te Pae Tawhiti, our long-term intergenerational vision, and deeply held values of rangatiratanga, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga, hihiritanga and pono, Wakatū manages its taonga in a way that builds on its legacy for the generations to come. Reporting to our Pou Whakahere Whakapapa, the Kaiwhakahaere Hātepe Whakapapa (Owners' Liaison Lead) is a newly created leadership role in our Owners' Liaison team. This role will oversee all compliance and administration responsibilities relating to our Owners' register. Our Kaiwhakahaere Hātepe Whakapapa will connect whānau to their shareholdings in Wakatū Incorporation, with emphasis on their whakapapa, tūpuna, and whenua. We have over 4,000 families throughout the world who connect to Wakatū and this role will foster their connections through the management of the shares register, our processes and managing the day-to-day workflow of the Owners' Liaison team. To be the right person for this role, you will have strong administration skills, operational capability and management experience, but most importantly the ability to work as part of a team.
