Job Description The IT Service Desk Engineer provides IT support services to end-users at all KONGSBERG locations. The role includes supporting end-users onsite, via phone and remotely. The IT Engineer will be reporting under the Regional Service Center – Asia (RSC-A) located in Singapore. Responsibilities KONGSBERG IT has 3 IT Regional Service Centers worldwide. We want you to be a part of our IT Service Desk team in Singapore where we perform the following main tasks: Incidents and Service Requests o Log all relevant incidents and service requests received via walk-in, phone call or ticketing system o Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests o Escalate incidents and service requests that cannot be resolved Committing to User Satisfaction o Keep the user informed/updated of the incident progress o Publish system notifications, knowledge articles and other information to end users Monitoring of infrastructure and business critical services Asset Management Client Setup and Management Produce knowledge articles for internal IT user and for end users Participate in daily handovers with the other RSC’s in the US and Singapore Participate in weekend and bank holiday support schedule. Office hours varies from 0800-1600 or 0900-1700. Sometimes it can be other timings since we are backing up other RSC’s. Attend to necessary training if necessary - both domestic and overseas Requirements Degree within the IT field A fresh graduate can be considered with the right background and attitude. But relevant work experience within IT support will be good.
