Then keep reading… Kodak Canada is looking to add an Electro-Mechanical Technician to their team. This position will be responsible for assembling and testing one of Kodak’s computer-to-plate devices, Magnus VLF (Very Large Format), as well as legacy service and KCS (Kodak Certified Solutions) duties as required. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and DFMA. Responsibilities: Working on mechanical, and/or electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies that will also include pneumatic components Working with production documentation like Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Bill of Materials (BOM), and CAD drawings Participating in delivering quality products on-time to our customers Maximizing and maintaining quality as per the latest production standard, test procedures, and BOM accuracy Continuous improvement of our products and processes through cycle time & cost reduction Support the creation of all procedures and documents including BOMs, SOPs, assembly drawings, and test procedures Ensure all procedures and documents available are accurate Support jig and Kanban cart designs Provide input into DFMA and PFMEA Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience manufacturing complex electro-mechanical products Experience in both assembly and integration required Good mechanical aptitude/abilities for high precision work Excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills Familiar with electrical components and electrostatic discharge control Familiar with detailed cable/pneumatic routing Production commercialization experience an asset Well organized with strong communication skills Self starter who requires minimal supervision What we offer: Extended Health and Dental benefits effective immediately 3 weeks’ vacation per year RRSP contribution after 6 months MSP matching A fast paced, collaborative and encouraging work environment Competitive salary based on experience Kodak is a technology company focused on imaging.
