Eco-tec, a Koch Separation Solutions company is currently looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Pickering, Ontario! This person is responsible for the process engineering design and support of other engineering disciplines in the detailed design phase. This person will also write and edit installation instructions and operating and maintenance manuals. Additional responsibilities include performing minor design duties and drafting of existing standard designs with minor changes and reviewing and responding to bid specifications for sales projects. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: Responsible for the P&IDs and PFDs. Responsible for process data in all equipment and instrument data sheets. Responsible for the final piping sizes. Review and respond to all bid specifications for sales projects. Prepare, set up and PDF all installation instructions, operating and maintenance manuals. Responsible for gathering literature for the manuals. Draft P&ID and preliminary layout drawing for sales using AutoCAD as Require Maintain accurate listings/databases and up-to-date files for all equipment specifications and datasheets. Assist with PDF (TIFF) requests (drawings) as required. Perform process engineering support/input as required (e.g. for G.A’s, electrical, instrument, pneumatics, data sheets, etc.). Maintain accurate listings/databases and up-to-date files for component literature and ensure system is up-to-date with new component literature. Assist Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Designers/Specialists with Process engineering processes to streamline design. Comply with company Workplace Health and Safety Rules, Policies and Procedures at all times. Attend training programs necessary to maintain/upgrade skills. Perform other related duties as required by manager. What You Will Need: University degree in Chemical Engineering Process control experience At least 5 years of engineering experience Ability to work overtime as needed Minimal travel may be required What Will Put You Ahead?
