Job no: 492520 Work type: Temporary Full-time Location: Knox Civic Centre Categories: Engineering Knox City Council is currently seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our Open Space & Landscape Design team for a duration of 2 years. Knox’s vision for its open space is on which will be sustainable, attractive and green. It will provide for a diversity of leisure activities, and enable people to enjoy nature, engage with others, learn and play. Our open space network will be well-connected and accessible and contribute to the natural systems of the city. The Open Space team is responsible for the design and delivery of upgrades to Council’s parks, reserves and playgrounds. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for delivering great outcomes for the community, is environment sustainably minded, has great AutoCAD and Adobe suite skills. The tasks required of the individual will include liaison with team members and offices within Council, conduct site visits, prepare concept designs, prepare detailed documentation drawings, prepare community consultation material/surveys. You will have recently graduated with a Degree (or equivalent) in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Design or have relevant experience.
