The Subcontractor Insurance Coordinator Intern ensures parties maintain proper insurance coverage, bonds and related insurance requirements. Assists in the interpretation/resolution of insurance and bond requirements/issues. Maintains data base and tracking system to manage the insurance requirements of subcontractor agreements, TOCA's, master service agreements, design contracts, OCIP projects and CCIP projects. Duties & Responsibilities Review subcontractor documents for insurance/bond requirements and obtain appropriate certificates from subcontractors and tenants. Review subcontractor and tenant insurance certificates, endorsements, and bonds to ensure requirements of contract documents are met. Communicate with project teams, subcontractors, property managers, brokers and carriers to resolve any document deficiencies. Maintain computer databases for all insurance and bonding related matters (Prolog, Procore, E-1, Textura and SharePoint). Monitor subcontractor and tenant insurance renewals. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Must be pursuing a degree related to Insurance, Risk Management, or related field. Knowledge & Skills Understanding of insurance concepts and procedures. Computer skills in data entry, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
