This is a part-time role. Opportunity (the job): The perfect candidate for this job is a self-starter that is highly detail oriented. The Social Media Manager creates content aligned to specific marketing strategies and campaigns for Davy Piper and will work as part of a team of marketers/campaign leaders, other writers, editors, and graphic artists. Is a project manager who keeps projects organized and moving forward. Has outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind Bonus Skills: At least two years of experience in social media content creation Excellent content editing (photo, video, text) Strong social analytics tools knowledge and background Strong copywriting, communication, and coordination skills Experience with Facebook Advertising Knowledge and experience with social media posting and engagement Project management experience with coordination skills is a plus Who This is Not For: Someone with isn’t entrepreneurial or a self-starter and needs a roadmap. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Builds and executes social media strategy together with Marketing Manager(s) to identify future opportunities for content marketing enhancement. Generates, edits, publishes and shares daily content for social channels including Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest (original copy, images, videos) that builds meaningful engagements and encourages target audiences to take action Creates social media calendars and syndication schedules Setup, optimize, and manage social media pages to increase the visibility of the companies’ social content. Continuously improves by capturing and analyzing social media data/metrics, insights and best practices.
