SCHOOL COUNSELOR FOCUSED ON CAREER COUNSELING (FULL-TIME) POSITION LEVEL: 2-5 years of experience JOB SPECIALIZATION: Counseling Service (Social Service, Life Coaching, Career Counseling, etc.) WORK LOCATION: Keys School Manila, Luna Mencias corner Araullo St., Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City We are seeking for School Counselors who are interested in progressive education, student-centered learning, and building relationship-driven environments. We need committed, proactive, open-minded, passionate, collaborative and reflective school counselors. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Use counseling theories and techniques in individual, small-group, classroom and large-group settings with students from kindergarten to grade 12 to promote academic, career and social/emotional development Help students find their appropriate educational path and help them achieve their post-high school goals May regularly perform assessments to determine the skills and academic levels of students; must be able to interpret this information in order to match student abilities and interests to potential careers JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant work experience gained as a school counselor, life coach, or primary school teacher is an advantage Guidance Counselor board passer is preferred Preferably graduates of Education/Teaching/Training, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, etc. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills to talk to parents and colleagues about students' progress Has patience and enthusiasm for children and able to understand student's emotional needs Can adapt to unexpected situations and remain flexible to change both in and outside the school Can adapt and respond calmly to overwhelming and difficult situations Is flexible and open to receiving non-academic related work Willing to work in Araullo St., Mandaluyong City WHY JOIN US?
