Roles & Responsibilities We are partnering with a fast growing global company to hire for an experienced Senior Accountant to the Singapore office. Reporting to the CFO, you will be part of the pioneer team in managing the accounts for the regional trading business. Key responsibilities Prepare all asset, liability and capital account entries. Reconcile all accounts as part of the month end closing and assist in analyzing financial statements and reporting on variances. Keep track of bank account balances on a daily basis. Provide accurate and reliable data to comply with tax and compliance regulations in Singapore, filing of GST, withholding annual tax filing Preparation of the annual Financial statements and filing. Assisting the external and internal auditors during their review of the accounts and the accounting processes. Key requirements: At least 5 years of accounting experience within in a commodity trading company Experience in using ERP systems Extensive level knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and inventory management Sound knowledge of IFRS or US Gaap and willingness to resolve accounting application.
