Your Role You will be participating in delivery of the latest IT infrastructure technology as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance of the Wintel/VMware estate. The role is split between BAU and project activities, as well as requiring participation in the on-call rota to provide support out of hours. We are looking for a team player, who is used to using their own initiative when troubleshooting, as well as be a self-learner and highly motivated to work with the latest IT infrastructure technology. Your Tasks · Support and maintain VMware 5.5/6.5 clusters including Cisco UCS servers and NetApp SANs · Support and maintain VMware VDI Horizon 7 desktop environments with and Flash storage · Monitor Windows 2008/2012 (Solarwinds, VMware vRealize) servers and troubleshoot problems. · Support, maintain and administer third party applications including Microsoft Cloud products (O365, Azure) · Provide a point of escalation and support for the Desktop Support Group · Install, configure and maintain server operating systems.
