KWS UK Ltd. is looking to recruit at the earliest opportunity a Breeding Technician. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Thriplow near Cambridge. In this position you will join our team and assist with field, laboratory and glasshouse operations essential for the successful development of new varieties. We offer a hands-on working environment and the chance to work with highly motivated and qualified colleagues. Your tasks: You work in the glasshouses including sowing, harvesting, transplanting and crossing. You carry out field activities such as drilling, pest control, rogueing, scoring, harvesting. You work indoors on seed processing, sampling and testing. Your profile: You are eager to learn about plant breeding. You are able to work within teams and alone. You are trustworthy and reliable. You have a UK driving license. Agricultural machinery experience would be beneficial but not essential.
