As a Typesetter & Finished Artist, in the Brand Experience Studio, you will have diversity of work supporting our firms’ pursuits, client and marketing projects. Your skills will bring the firms’ pursuits and strategic proposals to life with your strong layout, typesetting skills. For this reason, along with the Adobe products (Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop mainly), you will have a strong handle on MS PowerPoint and Word as layout tools. Your new role includes: Being fully involved in proposals and materials from beginning to end, liaising with stakeholders (Designers and internal teams) Collaborating with the national and offshore designers, external suppliers and stakeholders Ensuring your work is on brand, and technically consistent and accurate Preparing and supervising finished artwork for final submission Have demonstrated experience in long format layout and typesetting Diagram and infographic creation Finished Art skills, ability to roll out digital assets and assist in simple video editing skills are a plus Be a team player and always happy to help out Be passionate, with a great attention to detail and take great pride in your work Be energetic and contribute to the collaborative approach of our team Have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities Be able to work under pressure to specific deadlines Be comfortable talking to clients and stakeholders about their requirements and provide them with guidance on best design practices Be creative whilst meeting corporate guidelines and using your talent and flare when called upon Proof your own work as well as other team members for style, design and quality control How are you Extraordinary? To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience in typsetting and layout Advanced experience with the Microsoft applications PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Create Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise, set and meet deadlines Ability to accept and deliver constructive criticism Excellent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment Some knowledge and understanding of digital outputs i.e. web, video, motion graphics Preferred Bachelor or tertiary degree in Design, Media or Arts The KPMG Difference At KPMG, we’re passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity.
