POSITION SUMMARY KKR Real Estate is a global provider of equity and debt capital across real estate investment strategies. Real estate has been a part of the firm’s strategy since 1981 when we first began pursuing real estate opportunities through our private equity strategy. THE POSITION: The Real Estate Analyst will focus on all aspects of the investment life cycle from sourcing to closing, this will include strategic high level asset management however KKR use local operating parties to fulfil the more hands on asset management functions meaning this is a very ‘deals focussed’ role. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment with senior level responsibility from day one. THE PERSON: Masters degree in Finance or Economics from a top tier undergraduate or graduate institution Second language is preferred, ideally Russian or Italian Strong analytical and quantitative skills and demonstrated excellence in their academic and extracurricular activities Three years of relevant experience (Real Estate Investment/Real Estate Structured Finance/Investment Banking/Sales and Trading) Strong computer and modelling skills (Excel, Word, ARGUS, PowerPoint, Access, Bloomberg, CapIQ, CBRE Erix) Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication skills - both written and oral Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team Able to work under tight deadlines Able to manage several parallel projects International experience is essential MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: An Analyst’s primary responsibilities include: Supporting all steps in the acquisition of real estate assets from sourcing, pricing to closing Responsible for modelling cash flows of an investment opportunity to determine returns and quantify effects of potential risks Understand complex capital structures and have the ability to develop customized promote models Market due diligence to understand key value drivers including supply and demand dynamics and site specific advantages Responsible for assisting the team in all aspects of physical due diligence including working with third party consultants to understand all the potential risks related to the physical structure of the property Ability to navigate and comprehend complex legal documents (P&S, Loan, Joint Venture and Leases) SALARY PACKAGE: Competitive DATE OF POSTING: 24th January 2020 CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: 23rd February 2020 APPLICATION PROCESS: Please send your CV and Cover letter in application to: [email removed] THE ORGANIZATION Established in 1976, KKR is a leading global investment firm that manages investments across multiple asset classes including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate, capital markets and credit strategies.
