About Us: Kroll Bond Rating Agency Europe (“KBRA Europe”) is a new and rapidly growing entrant to the European credit rating space with over 50 ratings assigned. Following in the footsteps of Kroll Bond Rating Agency Inc. (“KBRA”), founded in 2010 and based in the US, KBRA Europe’s mission is to provide the European investment community with the same standard of excellence and integrity in European credit ratings, products and tools to make informed investment decisions. Key Job Requirements: Work with team heads in performing credit analysis and assisting with preparation of credit applications and investor reports. Includes review and sensitivity analysis of financial models. Review and analysis of transaction due diligence reports, financial statements and project documentation. Background research on market sub-sectors to help inform transaction analysis. Assist in presentation of transactions to credit committee. Attend meetings and conference calls with clients and structuring banks/advisers. Support credit monitoring/surveillance of issuers. Perform certain routine administrative tasks. Develop good understanding of relevant KBRA methodologies. Key Skills/Expertise: The successful candidate will: * Have client facing experience Have due diligence and financial modelling experience and must be comfortable using microsoft excel, including VBA (Visual Basic for Application), as well as other platforms. You must be able to easily manipulate and format large data sets. Have the ability to analyse, summarise and coherently present in the committee (written & verbal) large amounts of information/data Be comfortable in a fast paced environment and when necessary be able to work independently against deadlines. Good time management essential. Be able to provide analysis for senior staff in relation to financial structures, collateral analysis and underlying businesses Have a keen interest in learning more about financial services Be willing and able to travel freely between EU and UK Have securitisation and/or project finance experience (preferred but not essential) Be comfortable in a multinational environment Have a second language (highly regarded but not essential) About Us KBRA is a full-service global rating agency whose mission is to set a standard of excellence by providing users of our ratings with transparent, responsive and timely analysis.
