Your Role Systems Engineers are a critical component of the sales team in region and have a primary responsibility to cooperate with Account Managers with the technical sales activities in new and existing opportunities. Systems Engineers have in-depth, hands-on experience with products and services of our client and can demonstrate solid internetworking skills to our customers from different market segments. Systems Engineers assist with understanding customer’s requirements, the design of solutions, delivering sales presentations, presenting technical information about products and services, conducting product demonstrations, installing product evaluations, presenting/training at seminars, and responding to RFP's and RFI's. Duties and Responsibilities Provide both strategic and day-to-day technical expertise and support for assigned accounts in the sales team. Manage the timely, accurate and quality delivery of the company products and technical support to these accounts as required to meet sales goals. Work closely with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities Develop technical expertise within the account by delivering presentations and training on the company products. Act as the single face to the customer on all company technical issues. Focus on customer driven solutions. Skills and Experience The position requires strong communication and presentation skills, business development acumen, a well-developed technical aptitude, the ability to work successfully as part of a team and alone. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with the sales team, partners and end user customers at all levels. He/she must demonstrate exceptional initiative and creativity in the development of technical solutions for complex situations. The candidate possesses the ability to clearly and concisely present complex ideas and solution concepts to the customer's sales and technical staff. Sr. Systems SE have to be able to setup proof of concept (POC) installations at the customer site or designated POC labs. A knowledge of Juniper Networks solutions, in addition to competitors’ products and industry standards and consortiums (IETF, IEEE), would be an advantage. Advanced, in-depth, (hands-on and conceptual) understanding and network design expertise with focus on routing technologies is a must and should be complemented by a good understanding of security and data center switching solutions. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and NFV knowledge is highly desirable, as well as a good knowledge of Automation / Orchestration tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc. The candidate must be fluent in English and Czech in written and spoken and have a valid work permission for the Czech Republic. Travel inside and outside the region is essential for this position, up to 25% of the time.
