The kind of work you will do: You will bring your career to the next level and seize major leadership opportunities from country or cross-country leaders in finance. You will be based in one of our 14 offices in Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda and United Arab Emirates. Your leadership roles in Africa will include: CFO: You will be defining, leading and implementing the financial strategy in collaboration with the country’s CEO as well as designing policies and processes for internal control in order to minimize business risk and comply with local and internal accounting standards Internal Controller: You will be responsible to ensure that operational activities and financial reporting activities are effectively managed by a system of internal controls that ensure the integrity of financial information and efficiency in the operations. Head of Accounting: You will oversee the general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting and balance sheet management. Moreover, you will support in interdisciplinary issues such as controlling. Manager Finance and Audit: You will be responsible for evaluating the adequacy and operational effectiveness of our risk management, internal control and governance processes. You will plan and execute audit assignments to ensure that people, processes and tools operate according to defined policies, standards, procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Financial Controller: You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the business financial results and the preparation of the budgets. Moreover, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our financial strategy in collaboration with the local CFOs and the business unit’s CEOs.
