Implement process and quality improvement by monitoring and analysing quality control operation, to ensure consistent product quality according to Jotun Quality Manual, to improve batch cycle time, batch sizes and to reduce non-compliance batches Improve and correct formulation habits for industrial products, bring external expertise in formulation trouble shooting, both application and production related in order to optimize the inventory control and in-line with Jotun Powder Coating policy. Drive for formulation (process and cost) optimization by revising existing recipes to ensure quality improvement delivery to market. Promote and ensure good communication between production, QC and lab team to enhance internal customer satisfaction and efficiency of operation. Promote and ensure good communication between factory team, sales and TSS to enhance internal customer satisfaction and inventory control. Organize and plan RTL related tasks together with laboratory chemists Investigate customer complaints and initiate correction and preventive actions Review RMs with Purchasing, cooperate on old RMs use up, and new, cost efficient RMs implementation Follow Jotun standards and ISO procedures to improve consistency and traceability within the factory Respond to complaints in cooperation with lab team within 3 working days Develop missing lab/QC OPL and SOP Implement and supervise calibration procedures for laboratory instruments. Implement Jotun formulation guidelines Analyse quality control of product and raw material to ensure achieving consistency of finish product deliver to customers. Provide technical support to production, sales, QC and related departments to meet product quality and customer requirements. Initiate improvement programs in order to streamline all Process and QC activities with LEAN thinking and Jotun Operations System (JOS). Approve newly developed colours for sales and production recipes. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in chemical Biomolecular engineering/Biological sciences or equivalent with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience. Possess excellent Research & Development, Process and Technical Service.
