As an offshore service technician you will be working on one of the John Cockerill offshore wind projects. You will be working in the John Cockerillservice hub located in Ostend, traveling daily with a crew transfer vessel between Ostend and the offshore wind farm. The O&M Offshore Technician must be physically fit and able to work offshore and on heights. The O&M Offshore Technician is expected to work a rotational shift pattern to provide continual technical support. (7 days on, 7 days off) Your challenge Become part of the John Cockerill Offshore wind team and work on Belgian offshore wind farms. Complete a comprehensive training program. Carry out Service and maintenance work on offshore wind turbines, Trouble shoot in various technical fields (electrics, mechanics, hydraulic, instrumentation…). The ability to work safe and to deliver in accordance with QHSE Contribute effectively to the great John Cockerill team spirit and ethos. Your Profile Technical bachelor’s degree (electro-mechanics, electronics, mechanics…) or equivalent experience. Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings and schematics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic…). Willing to work offshore and at height Autonomous and result oriented work attitude. Safe working is one of your priorities Living within a 50 km radius of Ostend or willing to be accommodated on a offshore vessel Sufficient knowledge of the English language.
