Company information Jefferson Southern Corporation, or JSC, is a Tier One automotive supplier. This means that we produce and sell parts that are ready to be installed in automobiles. Our parts are stamped out of steel and then welded. We produce several parts that are part of the “white body” or interior shell of the car. These parts are not very visible after the vehicle is completed, but they are vital to the strength, safety and performance of the car. Responsibilities Process journal slips for payment Daily sort through incoming payable invoices through mail Reconcile received payment differences Review aged receivables monthly Do a 3 way match of invoices, receiving documents, and purchase orders Assist with month-end close out procedures Record and reconcile prepaid accounts Create Analysis of Accrual and Actual Expenses The environmental conditions and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Requirements Bachelors degree. Basic understanding of cost accounting. Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, especially Tier 1 Automotive Supplier.
