Your daily responsibilities include:: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to promotions staff/function in the Marketing department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction. Carries out major assignments including developing, coordinating and executing all retail promotions, direct mail promotions, regularly scheduled entertainment acts and special events to target retail and database customers while supporting compliance to departmental budget. Supports the efforts and projects of the VP of Marketing and/or Promotions & Entertainment Manager as requested. Coordinates internal support related to each special event, promotion, or entertainment for all appropriate departments; coordinates with Graphic Artist/Designer to properly fulfill all printed material requirements for promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP parties. Analyzes the effectiveness and success of promotions, special events, and entertainment and VIP parties. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities. Responsible for staff development and training programs. Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize team member engagement. Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to team members in regard to performance. Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs. Manages work procedures and expedites workflow. Provides recommendation for team member performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling). QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associates Degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of administrative or special events/promotions experience required, preferably in Marketing Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred. Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:: LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
