Please take note while applying for this position JOB DESCRIPTION Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager (Sheet Metal/Fabrication/Parts & Tooling) Global Cost Engineering - Cost Engineer Fabrication Job Location: Pune SUMMARY OF JOB Duties & Responsibilities 1. Responsible for Cost Analysis of heavy Fabrication and Sheet Metal parts & Tooling including Welding Fixture. 2. Preparation of detailed breakup cost sheets 3.Responsible for cost management at part /product level. 4. Cost Reduction in existing & future parts/ products 5. VA/VE activities in line with company requirement 6. Understand JCB & International Standard & follow the same within the Team. 7. Maintaining Quality and standards during daily work. 8. Achieve deliverables as per given Timeline. 9. Prototype development. Candidate’s Profile 1. Diploma /B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical/ Production) from premier Institute 2. Should handle progressively increasing responsibilities as Cost Engineer in Product Costing and Part Costing r 3. Should have experience in manufacturing Process design / improvements 4. Core Cost/ Production Engineer with 4-6 yrs of experience. 5. Experience in construction/Tractor equipment manufacturing. 6. Strong in communication. 7. Experience in Prototype development and build activities. 8. Manufacturing process knowledge of fabrication parts 9. Knowledge of Welding, Press operations 10. Understand overall manufacturing/part development activities 11. knowledge of welding Jigs & Fixtures 12. Ability to read prints, drawings and communicate with internal customers.
