The Account Manager is responsible for achieving the client satisfaction and client retention targets for their designated portfolio. To achieve these results, you will manage a high performing team tasked with providing the best level of support and service to our highest spending clients. The role builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with existing clients. The Account Manager will build ‘trusted advisor’ partner relationships with a view to retention and increased sales opportunities whilst maintaining strong client relationships. Tertiary qualifications in a related business disciple or 3+ years in a similar role. An analytical thinker who is comfortable with numbers. Proven capability in solution selling to marketing and communications directors and manager. Have good knowledge and understanding of PR, social, media, insights industries, current media issues, competitor behavior & strategy. Extensive client management experience at a senior level. Strong emotional intelligence, positive and energetic approach, results driven, composed, tenacious. Genuine interest in client service and client management. Good office technology skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to adapt quickly to new technology. Excellent written and verbal English. Excellent communication skills. Having experiences in media / public relation / ads agency will be an advantage
