Intersport Elverys is Ireland's longest established sports store. Today, we employ nearly 700 people across over 50 stores nationwide and our support centre based in Castlebar. We cater for both the casual sporting community and top sports athletes. Our business has been built on a high level of customer service, quality sports goods, reliability and above all instilling confidence in the public that Elverys Sports is the retail store for those interested in sport. Elverys Sports continually support organisations and associations that promote sport at a grass root level. Nowhere is this more evident than our Sponsorship of the Mayo Men's Senior GAA Team and also our official retail partnerships with the IRFU, Connacht Rugby, and Dublin GAA Brand Ambassador We're delighted to announce Rianna Jarrett as a Brand Ambassador for Intersport Elverys. Rianna is a key player for the Republic of Ireland international team and has recently signed for English Women's Super League team, Brighton & Hove Albion from Wexford Youths. We are very excited to work with such a great role model who inspires others to train harder to be at their best. Charity Partnership We’re delighted to announce that our new charity partner is the Irish Youth Foundation! The Irish Youth Foundation help level the playing field for young people born into disadvantage. Through our partnership, we will be helping raise awareness as well as vital funds to support the charity’s noble endeavors. Ireland stands together Intersport Elverys and our partners are delighted to announce that we've given away 1,000 Canterbury, Irish Rugby and FAI Ireland jerseys to healthcare workers and will donate €9,015 to Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm. Thanks to everyone who got involved! #IrelandStandsTogether International Women's day New Jersey Launch Here at Intersport Elverys, we recently launched the new Irish Rugby Canterbury World Cup jersey in-store, with the help of Irish Internationals Bundee Aki, Chris Farrell & Jack Carty along with some enthusiastic supporters! Managers Meeting! This week our managers thought they were attending our quarterly meeting in one of our Dublin stores. Instead we surprised them by having a bus at hand to bring them to the Aviva Stadium for a meeting with a difference all about exceeding expectations. Our speakers gave us a wonderful insight into to the exciting road ahead for Intersport Elverys and we also got to see where some of our country’s top athletes create many of our favourite sporting memories. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday! #IntersportElverys #exceedingexpectations IT’S OUR TIME, OWN IT – CELEBRATE, INSPIRE AND SHINE A LIGHT ON WOMEN IN SPORT Intersport Elverys #OwnIt campaign aims to shine a light on women and celebrate women in sport. There’s never been a more inspiring time for women to take centre stage and recognise their potential. We’re proud to share the story of women in sport – first hand – through the voices and experiences of female athletes themselves. We believe sport and exercise fuels positivity and can make a huge difference to women’s lives. Here at Intersport Elverys we’re ingrained in Irish women’s sport through our partnerships with Irish women’s teams including the Irish 7s, Mayo LGFA and Dublin LGFA & Camogie and we feel this gives us a great insight into women in sport! Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing the stories of well known women in Irish sport, including athletes like; Sophie O'Sullivan - Irish Runner and Athlete Sarah Rowe - Irish GAA player Natalya Coyle - Irish Pentathlon Athlete Megan Williams - Irish Rugby player Mary Kate Slattery - Irish Boxer It was a pleasure meeting these women first hand and hearing about their respective sports.
