The Group IT within Intersnack is responsible for coverage of IT business needs across all Management Units. The Group IT is based in Intersnack Head Office Düsseldorf and incorporates and manages several external IT providers to assure the best service to the end-user’s group wide. For this reason, Intersnack Group IT started an IT-harmonization project called “InGrIT” which will connect and harmonise the whole Cloud-based IT application landscape for all Management Units. The overall objective is to deliver easy and user-friendly IT services to ensure operational continuity and efficiency in the core business of snack production. Purpose of Role The CloudOps Database Administrator will provide support, issue resolution and enhancements of Infor OS (hybrid Cloud platform - based on AWS) and other related or integrated third-party applications. This position is cloud-focused but requires skills related to typical Windows and Linux system administration as well. Qualified candidates will have a valid record showing multiple years of success building and maintaining Windows, Linux and cloud-based solutions in a corporate development environment Main Responsibilities Your main task is the technical and conceptional design on Infor OS infrastructure as well the development and implementation of automation and toolsets for system administration, like ION; Ming.le; IOT; Coleman etc. Support for server- and client structure (Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016) Operate and manage web-interfaces for Intersnack purposes Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure Training for IT employees Manage the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the ERP Proactively review, test, and communicate significant system updates ensuring system integrity is maintained Requirements for the position At least 5+ years in an information system environment with technical experience in one or more of the following areas: system maintenance, database administration, operating system configuration, system monitoring, technical architecture, technical interfaces, software implementation and support recommended Ability to select the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements Experience with infrastructure/configuration/orchestration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation) Experience with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS) Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code and related concepts on public cloud Ability to code/script in languages commonly used by system administrators or DevOps team members (e.g., Python, PowerShell, bash) and with GIT as a version control system Familiarity with on-premise and cloud-based databases (e.g., MS SQL) Good command of spoken and written the English language is a must, and German is a plus Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience About us People throughout Europe enjoy savoury snacks made by the Intersnack Group every day.
