IT Coordinator The IT Coordinator provides Network Administration and Help Desk Support, ensuring prompt and appropriate response to day-to-day IT issues. This role works with external IT service providers as required. This role has the potential to grow into supporting and innovating IT Security and/or Software for IWG. An individual with the desire to pursue relevant Certifications and education in the future would be a great fit as the IT Coordinator. Roles and Responsibilities Network Administration: Network administration and maintenance of local area network services such as firewalls, switches, and other devices Maintain hardware and software through monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading and repair; evaluating options for continuous improvement Extract and analyze company data for internal purposes Implement, maintain, and adhere to all IT policies and procedures, coaching coworkers as required Help Desk support: Respond to help desk issues and promote learning within the company Proactively identify inefficiencies and offer robust solutions and best practices Install and support workstations as necessary Administer site Server equipment, backups, and antivirus/patch management with support from external IT resources Manage company phones and other hardware, and IT-related licenses Any other reasonable tasks or special projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements 1-2 years of experience working in a professional office environment, experience working in IT considered an asset; Degree in a related field (such as IT or computer science) or equivalent combination of education and experience; Knowledge of IT application, process, software, and equipment is required; At least 6 months experience in maintaining Active Directory/Users and on-site hardware; LAN and VPN knowledge; Knowledge of TCP/IP; Excellent data entry skills, with a proven ability to seek and analyze data; Comfortable with uncertainty and turning complex problems into actionable plans; Clear ability to communicate in both written and spoken English Intellectually curious with a genuine desire to both learn and teach.
