We are currently looking for a Warehouse Administrator (shift: 8am-5pm). As a Warehouse Administrator you will be working at our Logistics Department where you join a young and dynamic team. Versatile is the best way to describe this job. On the one hand, you will get the chance to perform traditional warehouse tasks: receive and store goods, transfer goods between warehouses, stock counts, restock of the labs etc. On the other hand, there’s also an administrative part: following up on e-mails, printing labels, data entry etc. Being able to combine these tasks, requires certain qualifications. We expect you to have great organizational skills, to be orderly and neat, to have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, a valid driver’s license and a flawless knowledge of Dutch and English (both spoken and written). The latter is very meaningful since all our quality documents are written in English and you need to be able to communicate with colleagues abroad. Experience in a similar role is not required but can be a bonus. Training will happen on the job. The most important qualification of all though is your eagerness to be part of this fantastic team and the drive to collaborate to get the job done while always taking into account the company’s safety rules. Responsibilities Unload trucks and receive deliveries in the warehouse. Match incoming shipment packing list information with open purchase orders. Receive inventory and non-inventory packages in the ERP system. Make sure all the incoming items are receiving the correct labels. Complete a variety of inventory transactions in the ERP system. Perform routine cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy. Rotate stock in the warehouse to ensure that oldest materials are used first (FIFO). Interact in a professional way with other departments to resolve discrepancies. Perform simple maintenance and inspections on rolling equipment. Answer inventory related questions from other associates and assists associates when they come to the warehouse. Help managing expiring inventory in the warehouse and assist with part number and revision changes. Make sure that the warehouse and offsite warehouse are clean and tidy all the time. Distribute all the incoming post. Job Qualifications High school degree or equivalent job experience. Be able to read, write and speak English and Dutch fluently. Have excellent computer skills which includes knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Knowledge of SAP is a bonus. Being able to operate hand-powered and motorized carts, pallet jacks, forklift trucks and other equipment is a plus. If not, training will be provided. Possess a valid driver’s license. Be highly organized, able to multi-task and capable of meeting strict deadlines. Be able to interact in a professional manner with customers, associates and all levels of management. Have a helpful attitude and complete all tasks with a positive attitude. Be self-motivated, with the ability to see what needs to be done without being told to do it. Ability and willingness to follow direction and perform duties. Able to be on feet a few hours at a time. Able to work in a group or independently. What do we offer?
