JOB DESCRIPTION Instadeep is seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to join the team responsible for developing computer vision and deep learning applications. In this role, at InstaDeep you will report to the Computer Vision Team Lead. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Explore new vision algorithms for proof-of-concept, helping to conceive prototypes. Develop and research computer graphics for augmented reality using a variety of sensors. Cutting-edge software development to advance machine perception, mapping, reconstruction, localisation and 3D scene understanding across optical/inertial sensing systems. Work with the team to manage practical experiments and develop prototypes. Collaborate with other teams to integrate the development into products for release. Implement state of the art models in computer vision. Work with geographically dispersed teams and customers to deliver the best in class solutions. Person Specification REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in building production computer vision and imaging algorithms for image processing. Expertise in at least one area of computer vision, machine learning (e.g. object detection, tracking, segmentation, image and video processing, 3D CT scans). Must have strong fundamentals in computer vision concepts. Strong coding skills in Python and C/C++. Total comfort working in a Linux environment. Have extensive experience in OpenCV/Scikit-image or other computer vision libraries. PREFERRED SKILLS: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is a plus. Track record of publishing in top-tier computer vision or machine learning conferences or/and journals. Exposure to CUDA or OpenCL is preferred. Familiarity with image and video processing pipeline.
