Job Description Our network of 20 offices across Australasia, Asia Pacific and EMEA are led by a “cloud first” strategy that is industry renowned for innovation, speed of deployment and scalability. Underpinning group operations are a series of platform environments at different stages of their life cycle. We are currently assessing these systems, as well as the deployment of a range of IT tools to manage the business, enabling greater insight, security and scalability. This is entirely focused on ensuring our consulting engineers, architects and administration team are afforded every opportunity to deliver their services reliably and efficiently. As we continually evaluate our current platforms and IT strategy, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to report to the Group IT & Shared Services Manager (Melbourne, Australia), who can assist us in the process, whilst gaining valuable experience in: Working in an internationally renowned, design-led engineering practice A highly commercial, amorphous, multi-currency, multilingual, hybrid environment Exposure to vendor negotiation and contracting Research methodology of cutting edge technologies in a modern high-performance business Insight into enterprise architectural design About You You must have a learning mindset, constantly trying to improve and learn. You’re an individual with an IT/business related degree seeking a Level 2/Level 3 opportunity with a strong interest in the practical application of IT systems, processes and how they will empower our workforce, globally. This is an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained through your university studies applying it in a practical, commercial context. An interest in a blended environment in the areas of traditional System Administration, Cloud Systems and Project Management will see you hands-on in research and learning how this integrates with our overall group strategy. The role will see you interacting with staff and suppliers, with you helping represent Inhabit's reputation and upholding our desirability to partner with leaders in the commercial IT space. About the Role The role includes: Be based in our Hong Kong Office. Consideration for location in Shenzhen/Beijing/Shanghai Be first Level 1 support to all IT helpdesk enquiries for Hong Kong and mainland China (5 offices), escalating as necessary to respond at level 2/3 as knowledge grows Help setup Level 0 framework for self service opportunities for our Hong Kong and China based staff Be mentored, and exposed to cutting-edge thinking around systems, process and governance Gain insight into Managed Services providers, vendors and their relationship with Inhabit creating documentation in the process Have visibility of various project planning, documentation, design and implementation processes Research and create recommendation briefings for consideration of the group executive Be hands-on with IT systems, hardware and software set up across the group Qualifications Skills and Experience Bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin written and oral Familiarity with Office 365 Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Have strong documentation, report writing and presentation skills (English) Have a proactive, positive can-do attitude Be highly communicative Be an agile thinker with an open mind and an “always learning” attitude Be an empathetic and considerate team player who can work with others to achieve common goals and implement change Be innovative and hardworking Have and display strong attention to detail Additional Information Please upload your Resume, Cover Letter and any other supporting documentation where asked within your application.
