We are looking for DCS Console Operators for one of our principals in Kuwait Job Objective: operate the plant in a safe and optimal manner from the console using the process automation systems in place. The key responsibilities areas for the role will be as under: Supervision of the Control room Active participation in the review of the OTS Relieving the head operator and rotation in all positions to maintain skills when qualified To control continuous operation of the units under his care To execute appropriate processes needed for start, operation and interruption of an installation / equipment or a production unit, in compliance with procedures and instructions To ensure implementation of operation procedures and safety and environment rules Desired professional should have Knowledge of refinery operating process; Downstream Oil & Gas Industry; Pre-Commissioning; Commissioning; Start Up. Experience and qualification: * Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering A minimum of 7 years’ of experience in operating and Commissioning of the field of Refinery. (at least 3-5 yrs in Refinery on required Units) and plant control rooms Specific Process Units experience relevant to the project (CDU / KHU / NHTU / ARDS / HOC / SGU). Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English. Candidates in the GCC having a similar experience can share their CVs at the earliest Job Type: Full-time Salary: KD700.000 to KD1,000.000 /month Experience: Operating & Commissioning: 7 years (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
