Opening/s: 1 Makati Basic Function About the Team: The Operations team is responsible for supporting the various trading, investment, client and reporting activities of the firm. Trading operations, portfolio operations, asset servicing, client administration and project management are the departments which fall under the operations umbrella. The core mission of the group is to establish scalable investment workflows, ensure a controlled operating environment and deliver high quality client service to both internal and external business relationships. In addition to supporting primary investment related activities, the groups assist in the design and implementation of firm wide projects, operational due diligence, counterparty management and client related activities. Education Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or other related business course. At least 2 year experience from a multinational company or a banking related work would be an advantage. Specific Duties and Responsibilities On a daily basis this position will entail reconciliation of cash, positions, and futures product of approximately 30 funds and its feeders. (Number of Funds depending on the complexity of transactions) On a monthly basis this position will entail NAV calculations, production of month end sign off packages including NAV, review of the financials statement and preparation of investor statements. Any other related functions required by AQR. Qualifications The candidate should have an understanding of general fund accounting principles including management and performance fee calculations, master and feeder fund structures, P&L allocations, and performance returns. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of financial products including global equities, futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income. Excellent English, oral and written, communication skills. High attention to Detail Can work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality output Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively. Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics. Computer and internet proficient.
