We are a growing remodeling/construction company located on the North side of Chicago. The majority of our work is in the city, but we work in the surrounding suburbs as well. The majority of our work is residential and our primary focus is adapting homes for older adults and people with disabilities. This construction posting is for full time year round employment. With that being said, we are really good at what we do and perform all types of remodeling and construction work. The most common construction projects we perform are bathrooms, kitchens, ramps, decks and concrete work. We also install a line of accessibility equipment which you will be trained in. We are in need of a full time carpenter or individual with remodeling or construction experience. Candidates must: Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction / remodeling or a related trade Reliable and looking to grow with our company Have their own transportation with a valid drivers license Be professional and able to speak to customers Have their own hand tools Be willing to perform all aspects of a project from demo to final clean up A team player who can take and give directions Be able to pass a drug test and background check General Skills Needed: rough carpentry and framing knowledge trim carpentry (hanging doors, cabinets and trim) tile setting experience is a plus light plumbing (setting toilets, hooking up sinks) drywall and taping skills We are more concerned with your ability and eagerness to learn than what you know!
