Lethbridge -Community Support Worker-Residential Care Home We are seeking a mature, caring female staff to work with a female adult client with complex medical needs in a residential setting. Preference will be given to those with healthcare background and/or experience working with clients with epilepsy and/or high medical needs. Hours Required: Monday-Friday 3 p.m.-10 p.m. Duties/Responsibilities: Assisting client with personal care and medication administration Assisting client with daily living skills, including cooking, laundry and housekeeping Providing assistance to keep the client safe and to mitigate potential hazards Involving the client in community-based activities and promoting social inclusion Efficient documentation and time management skills Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of rehab experience in residential or non-residential program required CPI, PBI and ASIST considered an asset Experience working with clients with complex medical needs Ability to effectively manage behaviors Experience working with personal care Effective communicator and ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team Must have a clear Criminal Record Check & 2 work-related references Vehicle, valid driver’s license and 3rd party $2 million liability insurance Valid Work Permit (If applicable) Independent Counselling Enterprises (I.C.E.) is a province-wide agency that has been in operation since 1986.
