The Company Our clients are a small but rapidly growing team of mathematicians, data scientists and software engineers constantly striving to refine our world class betting models while also researching and deploying new ones based in London. ABOUT THIS ROLE As the Betting Analysis Manager, you will report directly to our CEO and manage a team of around 10 Betting Analysts who are working day, evening and weekend shifts monitoring market and betting activity. The business is growing quickly, and this role will suit an ambitious person with some experience of people management combined with a laser like attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a genuinely proactive approach to taking full ownership of the team’s goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Managing the betting calendar to ensure appropriate shift coverage. Managing the team to deliver agreed operational and development priorities. Ensuring the quality and robustness of the team’s software platform and tools. Providing accurate and timely reporting to senior management, both written and verbal. Driving team growth per agreed targets. Proactive planning of team objectives over 3/6/12 months. Hiring and regular staff reviews and progression planning. Ad hoc project management across the business as time and skill permit. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Proven success at people management over at least 1 year. Demonstrably strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Focused and diligent work ethic. Proactive and tenacious personality. Willingness to learn and adapt to new environments. DESIRABLE SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A programming or IT background. Experience of sports betting. Experience of project management. BENEFITS PACKAGE Salary £46k - £52k depending on experience. Annual discretionary performance bonus. 25 days holiday per annum, plus UK bank holidays.
