Have you got 3+ years experience as a Financial Analyst? Do you have full or part CIMA/ACCA qualifications? Have you worked with Big Data and used software tools? This role is for a multinational company in the processed gas sector with revenues of $500MM. As a Financial Analyst, you will be providing accurate reporting and planning, and meaningful (project-based) analysis to support decision making in both commercial and operational aspects. You will use the business's large data pools, leveraging various software applications and BI tools to provide business insights. Dimensions: The UKI Integrated Gases business currently comprises of three main product lines, Liquid Bulk Gases, Packed Gases and On-Site Gases. Total revenues are currently ~$500MM Principal Accountabilities: Contribute in achieving Operating Plan and Strategic goals for the UKI Gases business Monthly results preparation and reporting to UK-I leadership, major factor and forecast preparation. Prepare the quarterly report package for the Business Area Reviews, together with the management team. Participate in preparation of the yearly Operating Plan Support good governance practices for the business Proactive business support including elements like: Work closely with UK-I leadership team to provide analysis and insight on major operational/commercial projects - customer profitability, price/margin analysis, new business profitability analysis, supply chain optimization. Monitor capex and facilitate cost control of the supply chain and plant operations. Improve utilization of business data pools to provide powerful metrics on business performance by leveraging existing applications (eg. QlikSense). Contribute in business meetings and communicate effectively with the UK IG business at all its levels Ownership of the Cost to Serve standards for the integrated gases business Keep a close link between the business unit and the Accounting and Shared Businesses Services organization for the sub-region Qualifications and experience required: Part qualified CIMA/ACCA Accounting or Finance degree Business Management degree, major Production & Logistics/Finance & Accounting/IT Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good systems knowledge (SAP, Analysis/BW) coupled with excellent Office (Excel) skills General Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with peers, cross functionally and with senior leadership (adapting style as required, face to face, remote and presentations) Ability to work effectively under pressure in a challenging fast paced environment Acumen for utilizing IT tools to create business reports, knowledge of coding advantageous High degree of initiative (Self-starter), ability to learn and efficiently manage multiple tasks Prior business partnering experience Language: English (Fluent) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £45,000.00 /year Experience: Financial Analysis: 3 years (Required) Licence: Part qualified CIMA / ACCA (Required)
