What you will do You are a key member of the Semiconductor Technology and Systems senior leadership, the Chief of Staff to the COO. You will provide advice, assistance and coordination to drive business decision-making while assuring successful execution. You will work closely with the COO and STS Senior Leadership Team and augment their bandwidth on strategic, business and operational items. Your key responsibilities: Working with the COO to develop a strategy for the organization Managing strategic direction and the content of the annual strategic plan, key initiatives, and strategic business projects by leading Program Strategy Meetings STS-wide Strategic Portfolio Management and creating & updating dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators Assisting in the daily management of the business, anticipate issues, solve problems effectively and help position the team for success by driving STS staff meeting STS Core CMOS operations meeting Assuring timely delivery of all expectations of the STS unit by coordinating customer technical accounts in imec’s Semiconductor Technology Programs. This includes Monthly program reporting to customers, follow up with customer on-site managers on customer technical feedback & requests in imec’s STS Programs Developing all aspects of communications for STS senior leadership for both internal and external (customer, conferences,. ..) audiences Acting as proxy for the COO to extend the impact of the leadership team and accelerate decision-making by overseeing large, often cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives In this role, you report directly to the COO. Who you are You have 7+ years’ experience in the high tech and/or semiconductor industry in an international environment and experience with strategy & business processes. You have a solid academic background in electronics, physics, chemistry, semiconductor technology and a broad understanding of technology and technology-related business. If you combine this with an MBA, you have a plus. You have a proven ability to create and drive strategies, work independently, simultaneously manage diverse assignments while remaining organized and productive. You can read the internal and external landscape, have strong business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on the many requests received. You have a strong ability to influence and collaborate. You can work in a fast-paced environment and handle high degrees of task and deadline pressure. You are a strong networker & team player. You have proven coordination skills, are well organized, have a pragmatic attitude and are diligent in follow up. You speak English fluently. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus. Apply
