An opportunity has arisen for a permanent experienced Personal Assistant to support members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and Digital Leaders within the Digital & Informatics Team (DIT) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holders will provide full secretarial and administrative support to members of the SMT and Digital Leaders. As an experienced personal assistant you should possess excellent organisational skills and be used to working with senior colleagues in a complex, busy environment. In addition, you will be required to arrange and attend formal committees and meetings including the preparation and distribution of agendas, collation of papers, chasing of actions and transcribing of minutes. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will liaise with a wide range of people from within the Trust and from other organisations and will be required to present a professional image to internal and external stakeholders working across our hospital sites. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with drive and enthusiasm to undertake this role. You will need excellent attention to detail to join our dynamic team demonstrating advanced skills in Microsoft Office and an ability to be an effective team player. You will have experience and expertise in complex diary management (Microsoft Outlook), with excellent IT skills and a professional telephone manner. You will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional skills in customer care and in particular, ensure all matters relating to your work are dealt with in a sensitive and timely manner. You will be able to adapt and prioritise your workload, work under pressure to meet tight deadline and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You should also have the capacity to be flexible and work as part of a wider team, committed to enhancing the performance and productivity of the team using your own insight and initiative. The post holder will be involved in the administration of the recruitment process, booking; meeting rooms, accommodation and travel and be first point of call for the DIT department. An understanding of the need for confidentiality is essential. Experience in the Health service is not essential; however the ability to provide a first rate PA service is crucial.
