OVERVIEW: The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible to assemble and manage a team of employees and contractors that will take care of non-production related facility issues such as grounds keeping, plumbing, electricity, HVAC, canteen, fencing, gym, security, building maintenance and repair etc. RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in the construction of the facility to gain as much knowledge as possible on how to best maintain the facility as it goes into operation. Secure a team of direct employees and contractors, in close cooperation with HR and Procurement, that has the ability to provide day to day facilities support ensuring as safe, secure and cost-effective work environment. In close cooperation with Procurement acquire tools and equipment nessesary to maintain and operate the facility on a day to day basis. Set standards, develop processes related to proper site maintenance and upkeep, ensuring that the facilities are safe and up to code. Ensure risk assessments and hazard identification are carried out for all tasks being undertaken by you, your team and sub-contractors under your direct control. Implement any necessary control measures and risk assessments according to INEOS Automotive SHE standards. Ensure reactive maintenance is completed as needed to ensure the safe and continued running of all facilities. To be done promptly and recorded into the maintenance system, adding preventative tasks where possible to reduce the need for reactive maintenance in future. Requirements DESIRED EXPERIENCE: The incumbent will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience gained in an operational environment for Industrial Facility Management and Maintenance leading staff and outsourced resources. A good contact network and experience in outsourcing services. Experience in managing budgets. Excellent facilities management skills, with a track record of delivery. The incumbent must be able to build effective working relationships with internal clients and external supply chain. Good balance between achieving short-term objectives (finding solutions to issues) and long-term planning (ensure proper day-to-day maintenance).
