Field Support Manager IMServ is one of the UK's leading Energy Data Collection and Meter Operations service providers, covering over 25% of the UK's entire electricity consumption with over 300,000 metering points. Our industry certified multi-utility solutions deliver data insights on business's Electricity, Gas and Water consumption. IMServ has been delivering specialist Meter Operation services since 2000. We also offer independent advice on metering equipment and support our customers as their portfolios change. Our experienced installation teams provide proactive access to data, ongoing monitoring and maintenance of equipment. The purpose of this role is to manage the field services team. You will be responsible for all aspects of field stock management within IMServ, including forecasting, procurement and stock inventory management. You will ensure that the field division maintains adequate stock levels, allowing them to function efficiently and maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction. We would like the candidate to directly manage and develop the office-based team responsible for the day to day delivery of services to both internal and external customers. The Field Services team provides first line support to our Field Technicians, including but not limited to Training, Purchasing, Payroll, Reporting, Supplier Liaisons, Logistics, On Boarding and Tool/Equipment issue and upkeep. Any experience working within a similar environment in utilities stock management would also be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Maintain an accurate and extensive inventory data base, required for IMServ to deliver its field installation and maintenance activities Manage the replenishment of all technician stock and the stock levels at QC Oversight and management of the creation of product codes and purchase orders Tracking stock movements, including goods inwards, dispatches, returns and rejections and internal transfers Active participation in inventory audits Advise other departments of any impending stock issues Liaise with other teams and staff to maintain accurate stock locations, and manage third party contracts responsible for storage and distribution of stock Produce stock reports as required Participate in appropriate business meetings to inform other stakeholders in the business of current stock levels and any other issues within the field technician team Ensure all stock records are kept updated Establish and implement stock reporting Monitor scrap/wastage and propose corrective actions to improve efficiency Provide coaching, support and identify training requirements to support individual development and succession planning * Qualifications and Experience Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics Should be a good communicator at all levels both orally and in written form Strong managerial experience (3+ years) with the ability to manage and guide other more junior members of the team You possess initiative and excellent problem solving skills Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines and possessing the ability to prioritise tasks and objectives Ability to meet and achieve tight internal and external deadlines Previous experience of supplier relationship management and negotiation Utilities experience with good product knowledge in this sector is preferable What we offer Basic salary of £32,000 - £35,000 p/a dependent on experience Discretionary annual bonus 28 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays) Flexible employee benefits package Pension Scheme (The DC Trust) The closing date for this position is Friday the 21st of February 2020.
